I'm new—where should I start?
Visit the WHAT TO EXPECT page on our website for all the details, including:
-
How to download our app and book classes.
-
What specials are currently available.
-
Which classes we recommend for beginners.
We also periodically offer a complete YOGA FOR BEGINNERS course! If you don’t see one listed on the COURSES & EVENTS page, reach out to us via text at 302-373-7538 or email us at info@serenityogastudio.com to find out if we have one coming up!
What should I bring to class?
Most students bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a towel (especially for warm or hot classes). We have mats available to rent if you don’t have one. For certain classes, additional props like blocks or straps may be helpful, and these are available at the studio.
What should I wear to class?
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows for a full range of motion. For warm and hot classes, lighter, moisture-wicking fabrics are recommended.
Should I register before attending a class?
Yes, it is preferred that students register in advance. You can do this via the SCHEDULE page of our website or through the Serenity Yoga Studio App. This helps us ensure a smooth and organized experience for everyone.
I am having trouble registering online, can I register in person?
If you prefer to register in person, please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class. Be sure to bring a credit card or exact change if paying with cash.
How much is a single class?
A single class is $25. For information on packages and membership plans, please visit the RATES & PLANS page: https://www.serenityogastudio.com/memberships.
Can I bring a friend to class with me?
Absolutely! Here's how:
-
If you have a FREE BIRTHDAY PASS, send the link to your friend so they can create an account and register using that link.
-
If you intend to pay for your friend, please reach out to us via text at 302-373-7538 or email us in advance of the class (preferably 24 hours).
-
If you can’t reach out in advance and there is room in the class (you can see availability by clicking on the class on the SCHEDULE page of the website or the CLASSES section of the app), come to class with your friend 15 minutes before the start with exact change ($25 for a drop-in) & we’ll take their info to book them.
What is your policy for kids attending classes?
-
Room temperature classes are open to participants aged 12+ with an accompanying adult.
-
Warm and hot classes are open to participants aged 16+ with an accompanying adult.
-
Students must be 18 years or older to attend classes alone.

What if I’m late to class?
To protect our students and their belongings, we lock the doors at the start of class. Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to check in and settle. We do our best to give you a minute or two if possible, but texting or calling when you're late is not helpful as our phones are silenced in preparation for class.
What is the cancellation policy?
-
For regular classes, please cancel at least 1 hour before the start of class to avoid being charged.
-
If you do not see a refund processed automatically after canceling, please contact us to correct it.
-
For Special Events, Courses, Workshops, or Pop-Ups, please text or email at least 24 hours prior to the event to be eligible for a refund or exchange.
